Born in Omaha, Malcolm X would have celebrated his 99th birthday this Sunday, May 19th.
This year, the Nebraska Hall of Fame will induct Malcolm X as the 27th member on May 22, 2024. The induction ceremony will take place in the Nebraska State Capitol Warner Chamber, featuring family members of Malcolm X, Malcolm X Foundation Executive Director JoAnna LeFlore-Ejike, Governor Jim Pillen, History Nebraska Interim Director Jill Dolberg, and members of the Nebraska Hall of Fame Commission.
