Gibson Les Paul Electric Guitar Transformed into a Synth by Sam Battle #MusicMonday
Awhile back one of our favorite music modders, Sam Battle, aka Look Mum No Computer, transformed a Gibson Les Paul into a guitar synth. And it’s lovely. Here’s the story from Look Mum No Computer:
i built this way back in 2010, it was my second ever electronics project spurred on by the want to play both guitar and keyboard in a band. I had the idea and it only seemed right to build it into my gibson les paul which at the time took me a long time to save up for. My dad reluctantly helped me route the back of the guitar out after i explained why it was a good idea. I dont think he was convinced but did the woodworking anyway! it was a scary 20 minutes that!.
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
