You might spend many hours a day at your keyboard so you want to make sure it has the right feel…and sound! It would be hard to try out every keyboard before buying one; to help out How-to-Geek has this guide to help make more informed choices.

The differences really come down to material, profile, and switch type.

Many people strongly prefer mechanical keyboards for the distinct typing feel they provide.
