While working on our RP2350 designs, one thing we heard over and over again from the fine folks at Raspberry Pi is to route the power supply exactly the way they suggest in the datasheet.
There’s a built in buck converter that will generate the internal 1.1V core voltage, you just need to provide an inductor and some capacitors. However, you can’t just use any layout or inductor to get the best performance.
Let’s review the datasheet and find a shielded, wire-wound, 3.3uH, 250mOhm, 1.5A inductor with polarity marking.
