Raspberry Pi partnered with many companies on the RP2350 launch
Raspberry Pi and its partners and customers worked for months on RP2350, the new high-performance, secure microcontroller designed in-house. Raspbertry Pi initiated an Early Access Program in late 2023 to share prototype silicon and software with companies they’ve either already worked with, or hoped to work with in the future.
The response was fantastic, and we all set off on a journey to build a diverse set of products around RP2350 using our then-yet unreleased Raspberry Pi Pico 2 as a reference design. The Early Access Program brought over 80 hardware and software companies together, many of whom collaborated directly together on software development and testing.
Last week Raspberry Pi and its RP2350 partners launched 34 products from 20 companies. There are still many other exciting products in the works, some of which will ship later in 2024 and some in 2025.

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
