An algorithmic music generator with Raspberry Pi RP2350 and CircuitPython #PiDay @todbot @Raspberry_Pi
Tod Kurt (@todbot) received a Pico 2 and loaded up CircuitPython to kick the tires (tyres?). The result is an algorithmic music generator using a rotary encoder, a round TFT, and an I2S DAC.
A rotary encoder controls the direction and color of an emitter that shoots a ball with a specific pitch, associated with that color on a circular GC9A01 screen. As the ball hits the edge, it emits a note event, which is played with CircuitPython’s synthio.
