Last week, we identified the problem with our retro PLEO robot dinosaur toy: the battery pack was too old/corroded to hold a charge. So, we sourced some high-capacity NiMH packs from DigiKey.
This week, they showed up in the mail, and we spent this morning reviewing how to repack the battery – a few minor details came up that we’ll cover. Otherwise, it works OK! It might be best to 3D print another battery case since we can have one battery charging while the other is in use.
