The Great Search: 12V US AC/DC Adapter with 800mA out and 3.5mm OD Plug for PLEO @DigiKey @Adafruit
During our company move, we found an old PLEO dinosaur robot, and we will try fixing it to give our kiddo time to play with it. The batteries are dead, so last week, we used the Great Search to find new NiMH battery packs to reconstruct the pack.
Now that we have the pack working, we are charging it up. The only problem is the plug is for the UK, and we do have an adapter to get us going, but we thought it would be good to show how to find a special power adapter that is not just 5.5mm/2.1mm for specific voltage and current capabilities.
