LED Pixel Mapping: WLED, PixelBlaze and LEDLab Comparison
The Art of Pixel Mapping
Pixel mapping is a cutting-edge technique that allows you to control individual LEDs within a larger display, creating intricate designs, animations, and effects. Whether you’re working on a large-scale installation or a small DIY project, pixel mapping can turn ordinary lights into extraordinary art.
Recently, I embarked on a journey to pixel-map my LED chandelier using a combination of tools, including a QT Py Pico, PixelBlaze, and WLED as well as LEDLabs software. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that highlighted both the complexity and beauty of this process.
