On a recent Great Search, we looked at I2S microphones – but we also glanced at the latest offerings from TDK InvenSense and found an interesting PDM mic with ‘low power auto-wake’ – the T5837 so we designed this breakout for it. There are a lot of parts because it’s 1.8V only, and we wanted to make it 3.3V compatible, so there are shifters in both directions.
