Skyrim Player Uses Real World Step Tracking Tech to Actually Walk the 7,000 Steps #WearableWednesday

Talk about taking your role-playing seriously. Using a treadmill and an app called Stepl, ShakeMistake climbed the heights of High Hrothgar. In order to be ‘lore accurate’ and acheive 7,000 steps ShakeMistake had to shrink the charcter down the character size.

Unable to make the game world large to add more steps, ShakeMistake instead reduced their character down to a third of the size. They also set up a treadmill on an incline to emulate the feeling of acutlally climbing a mountain, and with that set off on the journey.
