Making projects from Radio Shack Integrated Circuit Projects books #ShackToberFest
I used several books in the Radio Shack Integrated Circuit Projects book series to become familiar with digital logic and 7400 series chips. With knowledge from several of the listed projects and a 555 timer project, I built a 3 digit counter which can start and stop and digits can be tested and blanked out.
Over the years the project was hauled out for various effects like a “mad scientist laboratory” one Halloween. And it looks “so Radio Shack” if you are familiar with their parts selection.
You can read more about my adventures and see pictures of this project in the blog post here.
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
