I created a simple audiobook player because I wanted to surprise my grandmother, who is 94 years old, with a useful gift. She used to love reading, but her eyesight is failing and she only listens to the radio. I planned to give her an audiobook player for Christmas, but since she can’t handle modern gadgets, and I have not found a simple enough device on the Internet, I thought I’d build her an audiobook player that she could easily use.
