What Runs Doom? An iPod Classic #DailyDoom #Doommas
In December, Adafruit is showcasing hardware that runs the vintage game Doom, with a special emphasis on things you would not expect could run the popular game.
Today Drawingandotherstuff on Reddit shows Duke Nukem 3D, Quake and Doom all running on an iPod classic.
The iPod Classic was one of the best music-playing devices back when it came out. Not only was it a sleek gadget to play music on, but users could also play games on it that were specifically curated for this device. Trying to play Doom on the iPod Classic would seem to be downright impossible, but people underestimate the devotion fans have.
