Become Anyone 2.0 – Full Face Changing LED Mask #piday #raspberrypi
You might be able to look like anyone, you certainly won’t blend in. Sean Hodgins has designed a version 2 to his face changing mask. A very similar idea to Lumen’s face change mask we used to carry, great to see the fully maker version. Hodgins’ is 3D printed and runs 2960 LEDs with a Raspberry Pi and Pixelblaze
When you wait 5 years to improve an old project, but you take it in a completely different direction, this is what you end up with. There are almost too many LEDs to count on this mask, but I know the number because I had to do it. 2960. 2960 LEDs on this crazy PCB panel mask.

After finishing the LED Video Wall, I wanted to take advantage of the fact that each panel is modular and can be arranged in nearly any way imaginable. I present to you, the Adafruit Video Cube! Each side has 1024 LEDs, for a grand total of 6144 LEDs– it’s super bright in every direction!
Each Friday is PiDay here at Adafruit! Be sure to check out our posts, tutorials and new Raspberry Pi related products. Adafruit has the largest and best selection of Raspberry Pi accessories and all the code & tutorials to get you up and running in no time!

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
