MacTable from the Feb. 1986 issue of MacUser Magazine
The MacTable was designed for the Apple computers of the 1980s. It was manufactured by Danish company Scanco, under license from Apple.
It features 3 rear adjustable panels. It was marketed as the perfect workstation or desk, with lots of space. The original table has a natural beechwood finish and white laminate top with a steel frame. Later versions allowed customization.
There was a large 60 inch version and a smaller 42 inch long version, per the ad below (click for higher resolution on Reddit). The height was adjustable from 27 to 29 inches.
The table draws inspiration from Alvar Aalto’s iconic L-leg table design and features adjustable panels to accommodate multiple configurations.
