Have you ever peeled the back of a solderless breakout board off and gazed at those smooth metal strips that are lodged into the plastic? Maybe you want to repair a loved breadboard, or maybe you want to DIY your own breadboard-like technology.
This material is basically the innards of one of our ‘premium solderless breadboards‘. The contacts have a little divot at the end so they don’t snag on wires, and have a buttery-soft feel.
Each strip is made out of hard steel, so don’t cut them with your nice nippers! You get 10 strips and each strip has 10 segments, and each segment has 5 contacts, so basically you’re getting 500 contacts per bag.
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
