DIY R2D2! #SciFiSunday

George Lucas has often said that the main character of the Star Wars Universe is R2-D2. I suppose that’s why the faithful little droid managed to befriend every Skywalker who ever lived. If you want a droid of your own to accompany you on your Jedi journey, here’s a project from  via instructables:

Hello, another R2D2 build from scratch. This one is based on the Raspberry Pi, Adafruit Trinket, Neopixels, Servo controller and Pololu USB motor drivers. The programming languages are Python, C, Javascript and I use WebSockets. If you’re in for a bumpy ride, stick with me and you’ll see some pretty interesting things 🙂
