Love retro lighting like us? Well you don’t get much more retro than a medieval sconce, I didn’t even know that’s what they were called, the things we learn 3d printing continue to surprise.
Look cool at side of doors and entrances but this novelty light can be mounted anywhere using 3m command strips.
A little bit of fun but it grew arms and legs I like the detail on the cage top part, printed in Elegoo Gray. Uses LED Tealight to imitate the flame
Wall mount was tricky to slice and keep strength is such thin ‘’ironwork” use lay on face to play about with this yourselves but this last slice was a good happy medium for maintaining strength whilst minimising support fouling. I printed this bit with Overture Turbo PLA, really strong and incredibly sticky on the build plate,
Thanks for all your support

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
