A TLV320AIC31xx I2C DAC codec configuration utility
The other day, Adafruit posted about using the TLV320DAC3100 I2S to headphone/speaker DAC in a breakout and the new Fruit Jam.
Harald Klein wrote in about the software for the chip:
Hello Adafruit team,
I’ve seen your recent blog post on the new TLV320DAC3100 breakout board. I’ve published a(n Arduino) codec control library for this codec here: https://github.com/haklein/tlv320aic31xx
While it’s not 100% complete yet, it already allows to set most of the required things. Verified with a custom layout (Morserino32 project) and the official TI eval board.
Very nice to see that you’re working on such a breakout. Just wanted to point this out so that efforts on the library could be combined, and you wouldn’t need to reinvent the wheel.
Thanks Hari, we’ll definitely refer to this code when doing board bringup!
