James Brown has built a swept volume display: it generates a true 3D image by spinning LED matrix panels. The principle is the same as a hologram fan (persistence of vision) display, but extended to three dimensions. The image appears to hang in space, and is viewable from any angle.
The hardware consists of two HUB75 LED panels spinning around a vertical axis driven by a DC motor. 3D printing is used extensively to make parts.
Multivox is software creating a fantasy console which acts as a launcher for all the games and demos run on the hardware.
