This adapter allows you to replace the original rectangular speaker on a Macintosh IIci or IIcx with a new stock speaker that matches the resistance and power rating of the original.
It allows use of a “uxcell 0.5 W 32 Ohm DIY Magnetic Speaker 40mm Round-Shape Replacement Loudspeaker” (found on Amazon). You can insert the speaker into this adapter, and then insert this 3-d printed adapter into the original speaker mount. I used tape to secure the adapter to the speaker mount.
