This day in history: Alexander Graham Bell makes first telephone call
The very first phone call was made on March 10, 1876 between Alexander Graham Bell and his assistant, Thomas A. Watson. In this video Watson Describes that first telephone call.
In a recording made in the 1920s, Alexander Graham Bell’s assistant Thomas Watson describes the invention of the telephone in 1876. He then describes speaking to Bell on the first transcontinental phone call in 1916.
