NEW PRODUCT – Pico to Pi HAT X Converter
Bring your Raspberry Pi Pico or Pico-pin-compatible boards into the standard Raspberry Pi (Zero) form factor with this funky adapter board from Pi Hut. This HAT-compatible GPIO mapper is a takes your classic RP2-based Pico style dev boards and shimmies them around into the 2×20 connector featured on the Raspberry Pi computers.
This enables you to plug the hundreds of available bonnets, HATs, pHats, etc. into your favorite microcontroller boards! Develop ever-faster by combining the speed and lightweight nature of the Pico with the ecosystem of Raspberry Pi HATs – use the pinout to see where pins are mapped to.
Please note: Just because there’s a mechanical connection does not mean firmware exists to run the code for the HAT/Bonnet! For example, some HATs like our Servo Bonnet will work with an PCA9685 driver. However, other boards like the Voice Bonnet would require someone writing a WM8960 codec driver for CircuitPython/MicroPython/Arduino/Pico SDK which may not exist!
The color-coded 40-pin header also makes developing on your Pico boards easier than ever, whether or not you have HATs to incorporate into your project.
Plus, with 8 GPIOs exposed underneath, along with 5V, 3.3V, and 2x GND pins, you can leverage the full flexibility of the Pico’s adaptable pin configurations (especially on these ESP32-S3 boards, where you can very dynamically alter the purpose of pins, and this layout offers a lot of flexibility).
Note: Raspberry Pi Pico not included.
