Garmin VivoActive HR – Hands down this is the best all around fitness tracker I have used. It is ideal for the amateur athlete who loves to ride, swim and run. The built-in GPS and heart rate monitor along with a large touch screen and battery are the ideal combination. The firmware is solid and approaches plug-and-play user friendliness when it comes to writing custom applications. This watch features BLE and ANT+ so it will talk to most fitness accessories (heart rate straps, bike displays, etc). My favorite feature is that the filesystem is viewable when plugged in via USB making it easy to drag and drop fitness files and applications. Normally $250 which is a inexpensive for the features it is selling for 20% off on Amazon for $199.99.

UVEX blue light blocking glasses might just be the $9 sleep solution you have been looking for. These are cheap and block out 98% of UV light. There is no need to spend $90 on the more stylish options until you have given these a try. I’ve found these glasses to also be useful while milling PCBs. Ideally start wearing these two hours before bed time to increase melatonin production.
