Adafruit Industries and Digi-Key Electronics are working on a 365 day look at notable dates in electronics and STEM (Science, Technology, Math and Engineering).
Each day of the year has a notable day and date, which may be the invention of an electrical component, the birth of a scientist, or the founding of an important company in electronics history.
The list can be highlighted in websites, blogs, and electronic “this day in electronics history” calendars.
How your company can help!
We have researched many companies for their founding dates! Unfortunately some companies have not published both the day and month they were founded.
We are looking at the companies themselves to peek in the archives and let us know what they consider the day, month and year they were founded. Then Adafruit will add that information to the calendar – everyone will be able to celebrate yearly when highlighted companies have their anniversary.
We look forward to working with you to place your company’s history with that of other famous dates in electronics and STEM history!
