An In-Depth Look at the Cyberpunk Red Corebook #cyberpunk
This over 38-minute video is a clear, comprehensive, and informative introduction to the new Cyberpunk Red corebook for Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk RPG.
The video provides an introduction to the game, a backgrounder on “the time of the Red,” a rundown of the character types, and the basics of book’s content and game mechanics. Ekorren also provides a series of conclusions and an overall review.
Tl;Dr: He loves it! It’s mid-level crunchy (likely a vestige of its 1980s origins), and may be a bit intimidating for new players. And the book is not well-laid-out for game-play accessibility, but overall, Cyberpunk Red improves on what was already a fantastic RPG in Cyberpunk 2020.
