The Great Search: Tiny Bright Green SMT LEDs #TheGreatSearch #DigiKey #Adafruit @DigiKey @Adafruit

The Great Search is a new series of videos focused on searching the Digi-Key catalog to narrow down to the parts you want to buy. This week (video):

A user loves the green LED on the BME280 breakout and wants to buy some for their own projects. Do we have a Digikey part number for that one? From the Adafruit Forums:

I have purchased many Adafruit sensor breakout boards (can’t resist them) and recently I bought 3 BME280 sensor boards.

Q: The green LED on that board is so bright and beautiful! I want to order those myself to use them on my projects so can you please tell me what the part number is if possible? I’m living in The Netherlands but I can order at Farnell or Digikey…

A customer wrote in asking us about the 0603 green LEDs we have on our STEMMA QT boards. We’ll show you how to find these adorable LEDs on Digi-Key and some tips on how to use LED semiconductor physics and human eyeball biology to reduce power.
